What is Fluoride?

Fluoride is actually a mineral that naturally occurs in your teeth. It’s used in dentistry to help strengthen tooth enamel, which is the outermost layer of the tooth. When tooth enamel starts to decay, it can lead to a wide variety of issues, such as cavities and temperature sensitivity. Looking to get some fluoride outside of the dentist office? Drink local tap water and check for toothpaste that has added fluoride!

Benefits of Fluoride Treatments

Fluoride treatments can help prevent cavities, tooth decay, and harmful growth of oral bacteria.
