Cleaning

Did you know that the American Dental Association recommends that your child visit the dentist as soon as their first tooth erupts and again every six months after that for cleanings and checkups?

In addition to starting babies early with getting their teeth checked and cleaned, it gives Dr. Lantzy and his staff the opportunity to help educate parents on good brushing techniques and healthy oral hygiene. Here at Lantzy Children’s Dentistry, we make cleanings so fun, your child will be looking forward to their next visit! Come see why children leave our office with a smile on their face!

Teeth Cleaning in Trophy Club, TX - Lantzy Childrens Dentistry

The Cleaning Process

During your child’s cleaning appointment, our expert team will do a couple of things. Our first step is to check for any signs of dental diseases or cavities and evaluate if your child’s teeth are developing correctly. Then, our awesome dental hygienist will begin cleaning! After a good brush and floss, we will apply a fluoride treatment, which has been shown to significantly improve tooth health.

Why is regular teeth cleaning important?

By getting your child's teeth cleaned regularly, they have a substantially lower risk of developing dental diseases and cavities. Plus, we make cleanings fun at Lantzy Children’s Dentistry!
