Pediatric Dentistry
Hi, Dr. Lantzy here! Thank you for visiting our website. I always knew that I wanted to work with my hands, but I didn’t always know what exactly that looked like for me. Fast forward to Texas Tech, where I received my undergraduate degree, I realized that I wanted to become a dentist. I went to dental school in Houston, Texas, and I knew that I wanted to do more.
A good friend of mine at the time who was a pediatrician encouraged me to become a pediatric dentist because he knew how much I loved working with kids, and how good I was with them! So, here I am, many years later, loving what I do. Come on down to Lantzy Children’s Dentistry to see what makes us so unique!

What Is A Pediatric Dentist?
So, what is a pediatric dentist? A pediatric dentist is an accredited dentist who has undergone an extra two to three years of specialized training after dental school. Pediatric dentists are dedicated to the oral health of children from infancy through their teenage years. Children, pre-teens, and teenagers all need different approaches to deal with their behavior, guide their dental growth and development, and help them avoid future dental problems. A pediatric dentist is best qualified to meet children’s needs of all ages.
